Animation training to students during Onam vacation
സ്വതന്ത്ര സോഫ്റ്റ് വെയറുകള് ഉപയോഗിച്ച് ജില്ലയിലെ പൊതുവിദ്യാലയങ്ങളില് പഠിക്കുന്ന കുട്ടികള്ക്ക് ഐടി@സ്കൂള് പ്രോജക്ട് ഓണാവധിക്കാലത്ത് വിപുലമായ അനിമേഷന് സിനിമാ നിര്മ്മാണ പരിശീലനം നടത്തുന്നു. ജില്ലയിലെ 25 കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളില് നടക്കുന്ന പ്രത്യേക പരിശീലനത്തിന് ഇതുവരെ 750 കുട്ടികള് രജിസ്റ്റര് ചെയ്തു. ഒരു കാര്ട്ടൂണ് സിനിമ നിര്മിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള കഥ കണ്ടെത്തല്, തിരക്കഥ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തല്, സ്റ്റോറീബോര്ഡ് തയാറാക്കല്, കൂര്ട്ടൂണ് കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ വരയ്ക്കല്, അവയെ അനിമേറ്റ് ചെയ്യിക്കല്, കഥാപാത്രങ്ങള്ക്ക് ശബ്ദവും സംഗീതവും നല്കല്, ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിന് ടൈറ്റിലുകള് നല്കല് എന്നിങ്ങനെ അനിമേഷന് ഫിലിം നിര്മാണത്തിന്റെ മുഴുവന് ഘട്ടങ്ങളിലൂടെയും കുട്ടികള് കടന്നുപോകുന്ന രൂപത്തിലാണ് പരിശീലനം. ജില്ലിയില് ഇതിനുള്ള വിപുലമായ ക്രമീകരണങ്ങള് നടന്നുവരുന്നു. മെയ് മാസത്തില് ജില്ലയില് 100കുട്ടികള്ക്ക് അനിമേഷന് നിര്മ്മാണ പരിശീലനം നല്കിയിരുന്നു. ഇതില് നിന്നും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത 20 കുട്ടികള്ക്ക് തുടര്പരിശീലനങ്ങളും നല്കി. ഈ കുട്ടികളോടൊപ്പം അനിമേഷന് പരിശീലനം ലഭിച്ച ചിത്രകലാധ്യാപകരെയും പരിശീലകരായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇപ്രകാരം 80 പരിശീലകരെ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് സെപ്തംബര് 5 മുതല് നാലു ദിവസത്തെ പ്രത്യേക പരിശീലനം നടത്തുന്നത്.
പരിശീലനത്തിന്റെ ഗുണമേന്മ ഉറപ്പാക്കാന് സംസ്ഥാനതലത്തില് പ്രത്യേകം തയാറാക്കിയ എട്ട് വീഡിയോ മൊഡ്യൂളുകള് കൂടി ഉപയോഗിച്ചായിരിക്കും എല്ലാ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളിലെയും പരിശീലനം. ലോകത്താദ്യമായി ഒരേ സമയം ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതല് കുട്ടികള്ക്ക് നല്കുന്ന അനിമേഷന് പരിശീലനം എന്ന നിലയില് സംസ്ഥാനതലത്തില് നടക്കുന്ന ഈ പ്രവര്ത്തനം ഗിന്നസ് ബുക്കില് ഇടം നേടാന് ഗിന്നസ് ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് വേള്ഡ് റെക്കോര്ഡ്സില് ഐടി@സ്കൂള് രജിസ്റ്റര് ചെയ്തു കഴിഞ്ഞു.
സ്വതന്ത്ര സോഫ്റ്റ് വെയറായ കെടൂണ് ആണ് അനിമേഷനുകള് തയാറാക്കുന്നതിന് പ്രധാനമായും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത്. കൂടാതെ ജിമ്പ് ഇമേജിംഗ് സോഫ്റ്റ് വെയറും കാര്ട്ടൂണ് ചിത്രങ്ങള് എഡിറ്റു ചെയ്യുന്നതിനും ശബ്ദസന്നിവേശം നടത്തുന്നതിനും ഓപ്പണ്ഷോട്ട് വീഡിയോ എഡിറ്റര്, ഒഡാസിറ്റി, കെഡിഎന് ലൈവ് തുടങ്ങിയ പാക്കേജുകളും പരിശീലനത്തിന് ഉപയോഗിക്കും. ഈ പാക്കേജുകളെല്ലാം ഐടി@സ്കൂള് അധ്യാപകര്ക്കും സ്കൂളുകള്ക്കും നല്കുന്ന ഓപ്പറേറ്റിംഗ് സിസ്റ്റത്തില് ഉള്പ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുമുണ്ട്. തുടര്ച്ചയായ ഈ പരിപാടിയുടെ ഭാഗമായി കുട്ടികള്തന്നെ തയാറാക്കുന്ന അനിമേഷന് ചിത്രങ്ങള് നമ്മുടെ പാഠ്യപദ്ധതിയുടെ വിനിമയത്തിനും വിക്ടേഴ്സ് ചാനലിലേക്കും ഉപയോഗിക്കാനാകും. നിലവില് സൗണ്ട് റെക്കോര്ഡിംഗും ഓഡിയോ എഡിറ്റിംഗും ഒമ്പതാം ക്ലാസിലെ ഐസിടി പഠനത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ്.
ജില്ലയിലെ മുഴുവന് സര്ക്കാര്-എയിഡഡ് ഹൈസ്കൂളുകളില് നിന്നും ചുരുങ്ങിയത് നാലു കുട്ടികളെങ്കിലും ഈ പരിശീലനത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാകും. തുടര്ന്ന്, ഈ കുട്ടികളുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില് സ്കൂള് ഐടി ക്ലബ് പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി മറ്റു കുട്ടികള്ക്കും ഘട്ടം ഘട്ടമായി അനിമേഷന് നിര്മ്മാണ പരിശീലനം നല്കും. കുട്ടികളുടെ വിശദാംശങ്ങള് ഓണ്ലൈന് ട്രെയിനിംഗ് മാനേജ്മെന്റ് സംവിധാനം വഴി ശേഖരിക്കും. ഇനിയും താല്പര്യമുള്ള കുട്ടികള് സ്കൂള് ഐടി കോര്ഡിനേറ്റര്മാര് വഴി ഐടി@സ്കൂള് ജില്ലാ ഓഫീസില് ബന്ധപ്പെടണം. സീറ്റ് ലഭ്യതയ്ക്കനുസരിച്ച് കുട്ടികള്ക്ക് അവസരം നല്കും.

ICT training to parents
IT@School Project would be imparting massive ICT training to parents, as part of 100 days programme of the Government. The innovative programme would commence on 20th August 2011 and would be undertaken at all the High Schools of the State. As part of the programme, a One-day ICT awareness session would be conducted first in a campaign mode wherein parents would get a bird's eye view on the new outlook of the classrooms along with the upgraded educational systems, ICT facilities made available in schools, ICT enabled education, functioning of School IT Clubs, IT Mela, various ICT trainings for students, more about IT@School ViCTERS channel, prevention of Cyber crimes etc. A video detailing the ICT activities in schools would also be demonstrated in all High Schools.
"Through this programme, it is intended to educate parents on the modern ICT tools being used in schools in the State, besides making them ICT literate, and to ensure their participative support in sustaining & upgrading the available ICT facilities in the schools", says K Anvar Sadath, Executive Director, IT@School Project. Director of Public Instruction, A Shajahan has issued a Circular instructing the conduct of Parental Awareness programmes in all schools to be completed by their respective IT Clubs between 20th August and 13th September. Schools have also been instructed to submit the reports of the programme online. Special recognition would be provided to schools who conduct the programme in an excellent manner. The State level inauguration of the programme would be held on 20th August 2011 at 2 PM at GHSS, Thirurangadi in Malappuram District and Shri P K Abdurab, Hon'ble Minister for Education would be inaugurating the programme.
In continuation to the ICT awareness programme and as part of 'Software Freedom Day' celebrations on 17th September, specific ICT training would commence in all High Schools for those parents who are keen to learn more on ICT. The training would be conducted in batches without affecting the normal functioning of schools. A new training module has been developed for the programme which comprises of usage of Free Software, Operating System, Word Processing, Malayalam Computing, Internet etc. With the acquisition of these skills, the parents would be able to equip with functional knowledge on day-to-day IT activities like working of storage devices, CD-writing, Emails, Malayalam Typing, Cyber security etc. A special documentary on parental awareness programme would be telecast in IT@School ViCTERS channel on 19th and 20th August 2011 at 4 PM.

സ്കൂള് സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് ഐടി കോര്ഡിനേറ്റര് പരിശീലനം
ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ സ്കൂളുകളിലെ സ്റ്റുഡന്റ് ഐറ്റി കോര്ഡിനേറ്റര്മാര്ക്ക് ഐടി സ്കൂള് ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ പരിശീലനം നല്കുന്നു. 2011 ജൂലൈ 14 മുതല് 18 തീയതികളില് ആലപ്പുഴ,ചേര്ത്തല,കുട്ടനാട്,മാവേലിക്കര വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ ജില്ലകളിലെ വിവിധ കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളില് നടക്കുന്നു. ഒന്പതാം ക്ലാസിന് പ്രാമുഖ്യം നല്കിക്കൊണ്ട് സ്കൂളില് തെരെഞ്ഞെടുത്ത SSITC മാരെ ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂട്ടുന്നതിനും അവരുടെ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വത്തെപ്പറ്റി ബോധവത്ക്കരിക്കുന്നതിനുമാണ് ഒരു ദിവസത്തെ പരിശീലനം ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്.കൂടാതെ ഹാന്ഡി കാം ഉപയോഗം,നെറ്റു വര്ക്കിംഗ്,വിഡിയൊ/ഡിവിഡി നിര്മ്മാണം ഇവയും പരിശീലനത്തിലുള്പ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഓരോ സ്കൂളില് നിന്നും ഒന്പതാം സ്റ്റാന്റേര്ഡില് പഠിക്കുന്ന 4 കുട്ടികളെ വീതം(SSITC പരിശീലനം ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള) പങ്കെടുപ്പിയ്ക്കണം. കുട്ടികള് ലാപ്ടോപ്പ് ,ഉച്ചഭക്ഷണം എന്നിവയുമായി നിര്ദ്ദിഷ്ട കേന്ദ്രങ്ങളില് എത്തണം.കുട്ടികള്ക്ക് അവരുടെ സ്കുളില് നടക്കുന്ന തുടര്പ്രവര്ത്തനങ്ങള് Online ആയി അറിയിക്കാനുള്ള സംവിധാനം ഏര്പ്പടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.അതിനായി SSITC എന്ന ലിങ്ക് ക്ലിക്കുചെയ്യുക.
